AirIT Awarded $14 Million Contract To Upgrade MIA Operational And Financial Management Systems
March 27, 2013, Orlando, FL – AirIT announces it has been awarded a contract valued at more than $14 million by Miami International Airport (MIA).
The seven year engagement will include upgrading and supporting a myriad of operational and financial systems, including the Airport Operational Database (AODB), Resource Management System (RMS), Flight Information Display System (FIDS), Dynamic Signage System, Visual Paging System (VPS), Aerial View Display (AVD), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and the PROPworks™ Property and Revenue Management System. In addition to the core systems, the contract will cover the support and maintenance of more than twenty disparate interfaces, including PeopleSoft, Baggage Handling Systems, Baggage Input Consoles, Telephone Information System, Emergency Messaging, Advertising Displays, Enterprise Reporting System, Paging and Cable TV Systems, and SITA’s legacy common use system, among others.
